Changing the name of a torrent

I use UTorrent and I have downloaded a bunch of bootlegs that I am now uploading. However I can't hardly keep track of which bootleg I got from which site.

If I change the name of the torrent in the UTorrent menu, will it affect my upload/download?

Re: Changing the name of a torrent

It will not, at all.

The hash string in the torrent file you download is personalized to identify with your account. Any activity using the file (regardless of what you name the entry in uTorrent) is traced using that unique ID string.
