need a reccomendation for EQ program

Hey all,

I have a muddy mix on a SBD that needs fine tuning.

I am looking for (preferably) a freeware program that allows the file to play through, & the EQ can be set/adjusted on the fly during playback.

I am working with audacity 2.0.3 which only allows a 5 sec preview in the EQ panel.

Any recommendations?

Re: need a reccomendation for EQ program

for freeware, Audacity is pretty much as good as it gets...as they say, ya get what ya pay for

i use Ableton Live most of the time [used to use Logic or Cubase]...a lot of windows folks around here use Adobe Audition

search here at TTD for a thread about Adobe Creative Suite CS2 free to get a copy of Adobe Audition.
