Usually people PM the mods with questions like this. You might want to PM the video mods with a link to this thread. They are the ones who need to approve it.

I'm going to say no unless saltman disagrees, due to the lack of lineage since this is a recent re-broadcast and not an old VHS capture.

Sorry. This is unacceptable without the lineage. Lineage is very important here as a tool to insure the quality of what is shared and to allow potential downloaders the ability to decide if it is acceptable to their standards. This is of particular importance with DVDs due to their size and time commitment to download.

Is it possible to get the lineage from where the Disc came from?

Re: VH1 Greatest Hits presents: Jean Michel Jarre and Kraftwerk videoclips MDVDR (allowed? uploadable?)

I have some music DVDR from J.M.Jarre which I regard very good ones. These are mostly live recordings. I downloaded all these a few months ago from an ftp site, which has been closed since
Unfortunately none of the DVDRs had a lineage attached to them, only in a few cases do we know the source /usually some (HD)TV broadcast/. As of the other information (capture, authoring) we know nothing. It's only out of good intentions that I would like to share these with you as well.
Could I possibly attach a small sample file to show the quality of the videos, besides attaching the technical information (video bitrate, type of audio etc.) ?

No, the quality alone is not sufficient. As saltman stated, lineage is important and matters. If the original seeder chose not to provide that info, its not seedable here. There is no excuse for a show from the last couple years to not have that info provided. Thanks for wanting to share.
