Tracker problems

Anyone else having problems with their seeds turning red? Was getting database issues on the site earlier so don't know if it's connected, or it's my settings / internet has changed somehow

Would appreciate any help on this. All my seeds are turning red when I open utorrent for the last 48 hours or so.

I am looking into this. It probably has to do with the site now using cloudflare.


I do see that torrents have been uploaded today and have been completed by several people. So is this an issue only with users using uTorrent?

I've downloaded Azure and the torrent I uploaded earlier when I thought it was working again is uploading fine in there.

So for me, definitely a utorrent problem. Don't really want to have to reload nearly 900 torrents into Azure if I can help it - and work out how to create them

Are you using the latest version of uTorrent? I'm also seeing several peers on the tracker that are successfully connecting using uTorrent. Have you tried quitting uTorrent and restarting?

I'm using 3.5.5 (build 46348), it's telling me there's no newer version if I search for updates. Closed down and rebooted and still have the issue

Are there any settings in uTorrent regarding proxies? Since we moved to cloudflare, we are now using some proxy settings regarding some records.

Here are the settings in uTorrent 3.5.5 regarding proxies:

- Autherntication
- Use proxy for host name lookups
- Use proxy for peer-to-peer connections
- Disable all local DNS lookups
- Disable features that leak identifying information
- Disable connections unsupported by the proxy

What do you suggest we do with these settings Lynne? I'm unable to connect to seeders or peers. Nothing is displaying in the tracker status information column. I'm a Chrome user. Windows 10. TTD's website sometimes displays as text only now. uTorrent 2.2.1 on my notebook (also using Windows 10 & Chrome) seems to be fine. I'd prefer to keep using 3.5.5 so I'd still appreciate help with this issue.

uTorrent stopped 2.2.1 has now stopped working on my notebook. I'm getting a tracker sending invalid data message in the tracker status info column. This has to somethng that only the admin of TTD can solve for all (or some?) of us uTorrent users.

I do not use uTorrent, so I don't know which setting to tweak. I would try the different ones and see if anything helps. It seems to only be a few people on uTorrent that are having this issue.

Version 3.5.5, build 46304 for me - also closed down and rebooted with no change in the problem.

Have you tried toggling any of the proxy settings?


Very odd that I've only heard of it happening with uTorrent and not all versions of uTorrent since I have seen several in the peers listings.
