help needed...torrent too large?

i was trying to upload a video torrent for seeding, and first i was told the torrent file was too large.

i tried to re-upload, and was told that the torrent already exists on the tracker, abd i dont know how to remove it.

also, what could i do about the torrent file being too large?

hope im not being too vague.

thanks in advance for any help!

Re: help needed...torrent too large?

What bittorrent client did you use to make the torrent file? You might want to try to make it with another client and see if it will make a smaller torrent.

Re: help needed...torrent too large?

i used make torrent that comes with the plain old bit torrent client.

i tried it twice, but came up the same size.

maybe if i change the piece size from 256k to something a bit larger (512 k), it might work.

what should i do about the file it says is already on the tracker (or is there anything i can do about that?)?

Re: help needed...torrent too large?

I already deleted the file it was saying was already on the tracker. If it gives you that error again, just rename your torrent file before you try to upload it again.
