Re: Ripping audio off of a DVD...

Thanks a bunch, you guys... this will definately give me something to do for a few days once I get up to college next week, tinker and figure this trash out once and for all.

This is such an awesome forum page - folks are so friendly around here.

Yeah, I have a HD that I fried the electronics on too and I've been trying to get something to match up so I can pull some shows off of. Even found one that all the numbers matched, they were manufactured 1 week apart, swapped the cards and still can't access it so I think (hope!) that the card was bad on that one too....been holding on to it for a year now...think I should give up?
never give up on important data!

i have an eBook (PDF format document, you can read with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader) called "200 ways to revive a hard drive." it's an interesting read, with a lot of possible ways to recover data off a dying/dead HD.

You can convert dvd to avi and then use Video extractor pro by geovid. It converts avi, asf, wmv to mp3. Good tool, advise to use it.
