RIP Art. Dug out one of your tapes the other day, LZ at NOLA (that controversial one...). Enjoyed the tunes, thanks again!

Re: RIP Freezer

the thing I miss most is talking to him about comic books.. the man was a walking encyclopedia. he had god knows how many tapes of interviews with comics creators he sent me a few, they were amazing. he sent me so many shows I couldn't keep up posting them here for a while (they are all done now).

Freezer used Sony Ecm 99 or very similar. He held it high for the entire show, like the hammer of Thor. He preferred to tape from behind the band when he could for the best sound. these were 'till death do us part secrets he told me, so tapers play around with this top secret info. don't put it in yr 'freezer tape' lineage because Freeze talked a lot of poop sometimes.

start a band, tape a show, tape the radio and don't be scared of a little fighting

Thumbs up Re: RIP Freezer

Hey Five do you happen to still have Freezer's BOC tape you shared years ago? I lost the flacs unfortunately. Can only find mp3s that have been messed with by BOC fans.

Precisely why I uploaded my entire Freezer collection here this weekend in tribute (well, except for his Allman Brothers recordings, which are verboten...)

Re: RIP Freezer

Did Mr Freezer ever upload his recording of ELO in New Orleans (1976)? Would sure love to hear that.
