Re: RIP Freezer

If this is true...man, I'm in a bum mood.
Honestly, I could give a shit about the tapes.
And I really loved a lot of them he made.
I'm gonna miss the stories.

I also feel for his son.
He loved that boy so much.

Re: RIP Freezer

I was quite saddened to hear about this. I was hoping to chat with him again sometime. He was a true inspiration going back to pre-internet trading. Got some of his tapes from a mutual friend in the late 1980's to kickstart my collection a few months before I started taping. He gave us a ride to and from the Alice Cooper show at the Pantages Theatre in 1990.

Re: RIP Freezer

If this is true, RIP Brother....the 1 thing he hated more than anything was the gimme gimme gimme non-taping leeches...he knew I'd love this album and was kind enough to send me a copy, ironic that my favorite song applies to the very people he hated.

Re: RIP Freezer

Well I'm totally bummed about this. I had many private message conversations with freezer and I had the up most respect for the man, his "hobby" and the way he told it like it is!

Plus I got into taping because of him!

Wow, the ice box is permanently closed. No more opening the door to hand out the ice tray and grabbin' a tasty, perfectly formed cube to melt in my audio drink...

Re: RIP Freezer

I guess this isn't just an internet hoax.

R.I.P. freezer.

My condolences to your family and friends. I never knew you personally, but I will thank you for sharing some of your music and say that you certainly had a way with words, coming up with creative stuff like "wall-eyed, apple-knocking pig-fuckers", that made me laugh on more than a few occasions. I don't think anyone at TTD will top that, ever.

p.s. Is anyone here in touch w/. Reece? I think he'd want to know.

Re: RIP Freezer

All of it? That could just be from the eye-strain of reading hundreds of pages.

Re: RIP Freezer

R.I.P. Freezer.
Thanks for your sharing and touching so many lives.
We never know what kind word or piece of advice someone offers that brightens our path on this journey through life.
The Audio offerings make it all worth while.

God bless you and your family at this sad time.

Honestly, that is my favorite freezer story. He played those kids like a violin. The whole thing was really enjoyable.

After they ruined it and asked for help, I think Five ironed the tape
