Church ST-9000 how long does the 9V battery last?

I've got a question on the Church ST-9000 preamp that has the 9V battery inside it. Anybody know how long the battery lasts? Is there a way to test it out to see if it has enough power? I change mine often but I've been wondering if I can get say 20 shows before a new one has to go in. Thanks in advance!

Try searching , or asking on taperssection. The ST9100 is roughly 40 hours apparently, though I don't know the consumption differences between the pre's.

I have the ST-9000. I don't know how long it lasts either. For fear of it going dead on me, I change the batteries every 10 shows or so, which is about 30 hours, including opening band and the time I have it on but not being used. I'm sure I could go longer but I don't want it going dead.

I agree, its not a big expense but yeah 10 shows and I should be safe.
