no problem downloading, uploading ugh

new on this site, loving it but using utorrent and never had a problem downloading/uploading from other sites but i have nothing but trouble uploading on this site, could it be because no one is grabbing from me at the moment or?? i just want to be sure i share as much as possible to keep my ratio on good terms.
thanks
Rob

Re: no problem downloading, uploading ugh

Well, you are firewalled. The one torrent you are trying to seed has the single leecher firewalled also, and since you are firewalled, you two will never connect. Firewalled people may only connect to people who are NOT firewalled. So, head on over to portforward.com, select your router from the list, select utorrent as the application, and follow the directions.

If you look at the Peers List, if someone's port number is in red, then they are firewalled.

Also, make sure you aren't downloading/uploading too many torrents at a time, because then your upload speed will be so slow that no one will want to get the show from you.

Well, you can always offer to B&P the show to people who can't download it. Or, you can see if there is any interest in Vining the show. Just make sure you share the show in some way.
