Alternative Browsers

FireFox has some kind of a memory leak, so I switched to something called K-Meleon. So far, I love it, a LOT faster than FF, IE7 or Opera

I do hope they fix ff the extensions make it worthwhile when I'm poking around ad-infested sites.

what are you guys using for a browser? Anybody else not using one of the 'big three'?

Re: Alternative Browsers

Safari 4 is significantly faster than FF but those extensions are just too darn useful so it's FF 3.5b4 for me still.

Re: Alternative Browsers

I've been trying K-Meleon out, ever since-Five brought it to my attention and have to say that it has supplanted Firefox as the main browser - much, much faster. Shame about the lack of extensions (particularly dta), but you can't have everything!

Re: Alternative Browsers

great man, I'm glad its working out for you

I did manage to get adblock plus and flashblock working in k-meleon, which is great!
http://adblockplus.org/en/kmeleon
http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/FlashBlock

too bad about DTA... some alternative suggestions over here (sorry bit of an old thread):
http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/forum/read.php?4,71875

mostly just search the extension name, space bar, k-meleon in google and results come up quick! (esp if you're using k-meleon instead of ff ).
