Re: Problems playing VOB files

You can play them on your computer with VLC, from videolan.org

As for what to burn the files with, I'll let a PC user make a recommendation.

Re: Problems playing VOB files

Burn with Nero 6 IMO, prefer it to nero 7

As for vob, i personally use PowerDVD to get the codecs, and use media player classic to play them

Re: Problems playing VOB files

VLC player at videolan.org is the BOMB!best screenshot app I've ever used. PowerDVD is like WinDVD, you gotta pay to get the goods. I burn with Nero 6, but I use Ulead 3.5 on this machine and it seems OK for bundleware. IMO the ONES program looks really good and the price ($25) is damn good.

I downloaded it to play some odd (*.mkv?) video I had downloaded. Nothing else I had would play it.

Re: Problems playing VOB files

What's wrong with Nero? I've had good luck with Nero for burning iso's. I don't use the other features though.

BTW - I like k3b on my Linux box.
