iZotope RX 2 Advanced settings question "POLL" true or false

In the Dither settings there is one in particular I would like confirmation on. The comment below is "Remake's" comment in Dither Settings on BZ Forum.

Limiting of noise peaks: checked (as far as I know, this refers to the noise peaks of the dithering noise)
