Removing timecodes from recorded video

Is it possible to remove the timecodes we often see on videos. I'm cool with logos on the screen, but the timecodes are a distraction. Also is there a way to "un-blur" images that we really want to see, but some consider unsuitable?

For my viewing copy, I typically cover the timecode with a black stripe
(especially if the timecode is already in a black stripe) as most of the
"de-logo" tools cannot cope with the fast moving numbers. I find this
much less distracting.

I've never tried to un-blur an image, good luck with that!

Re: Removing logos from recorded programs

I think this is dumber than my thread asking how to remove timecodes - which are much more annoying than a logo. Why was my thread deleted (other than it was by me)?

I'm guessin' one or more of the mods is f*****g with you.

It would be nice to remove the timecode, but I doubt that it's possible. If it was, I'm sure you would have seen versions of shows with and without timecodes.
