Firefox Stopped Opening in OS X

The icon will bounce once in the dock, and nothing happens. Tried uninstalling, restarting, then reinstalling, still the same result. Any ideas?

No, I just realized most of my third party software will not open anymore either.

Re: Firefox Stopped Opening in OS X

What did you do recently? Did you do a security update or install something else that could be interfering with these other apps?

Re: Firefox Stopped Opening in OS X

I installed Photoshop CS3. I uninstalled, deleted a bunch of preference files. At this point I'm just going to do an Archive & Reinstall. Thanks for the help Lynne.

Re: Firefox Stopped Opening in OS X

not familiar with MAC's but do they have a system restore function like XP? It's saved my ass many times when installing new sometimes flaky programs.
