Question videos formatted for new Ipod Video

i have a few shows that i already have converted awaiting my new Ipod Video. would they be allowed to be posted here? they are 320x240 h.264 to fit the ipod perfectly, and i noticed that they Video BT section is for DVDs only.
allowed? not allowed? new download section?

not a good idea. pollutes the trading pool... and esp. not for an ipod. Convert all you want for your own use, but don't put it out there to be traded.

I haven't read up on this very much yet - but I thought the new Ipod would only play videos encoded with a proprietary codec. The obvious intent being - blocking people from uploading anything other than something they had to buy.

I'm sure people will quickly figure out how to crack the code and shareware (along the lines of what DVD Decrypter does for DVDs) will become available shortly. Or is it already available?

The new ipods can play video encoded as mpeg4 or h.264

It's totally possible and legal to convert vids to put on your ipod.
