Question Want To Support - Help

I have hundreds of CD-Rs, some circulated, some not of bands from the early 60s to today. I occasionally DL torrents here and would like to give back.

Unfortunately I'm a bit of a novice. How do I take a CD-R boot and turn into a lossless SHN or FLAC for upload here? I've read the FAQ but am, apparently, not bright enough to figure it out.

Please, anyone who can walk me through this process would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Doc

Well, the first kinds of information you want to give us is what Operating System you are running, what application do you use to download torrents, and what application do you use to convert your shn/flacs to wav?

Also, are you familiar with EAC at all (Exact Audio Copy)? You will want to download that (take a look at the Software Links in the FAQ) in order to extract the audio files from you CDRs to your hard drive.

Hey U2L, thanks.

Win XP, Bit Torrent and FLAC Frontend.

I downloaded EAC yeah, haven't run it yet.

A lot of the CDrs were poorly done and have gaps.

Thoughts?
