.rar file? How to decode?

Hey all I downloaded a torrent that is a .rar file. Can anyone recommend a site to open this bad boy Ive tried a ton and none seem to work.

I tried Winrar but it didnt help unless of course Im doing something wrong, it converts it but its still not a file either Real or Windows Media recognizes

what type of file of are you getting after running winrar?

OK Im not quite sure what happend I tired to download a Maiden show a week ago and it came up wit a wierd file after going through WINRAR, well I redid it last night and it came out fine. SO I dont know what the hell happend. Thr original file ext was a real wierd set of letter like N something or other
