You need a newsreader program and a news server (NNTP). Which operating system do you use ?

In that case I hear good things about NewsLeecher and NewsBin Pro but google "newsreader" and have a dig around. Your ISP may provide a news server but it'll probably be fairly crappy and this is a good place to investigate premium (paid for) servers. If you are going to use an ISP provided server you'll probably need QuickPar.
