Quick opinions wanted

OK, I'm ready to render a show and make menus. Here's the deal. The video is approximately 80 mins long. The video starts approximately 40 mins into the set in the middle of a jam. I am using LPCM audio. I can make a single layer disc at approx. 6K VBR with only the only the 80 mins of audio, or 5K VBR with entire set of audio. I wanted to include the audio for which i have no video, but I feel 5K is a little low. My other option is to do a dual layer DVD at 8.5K VBR with complete audio from set 2. I want to seed this show very soon, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, is there an easy way using DVDlab to give menu option to play entire set and to play only the video? FYI, the video has 1 song from the first set, so my "play video only" option needs to be able to omit approximately 40 mins in the middle of the show. I am very new to this.....

Thanks for your help.

Re: Quick opinions wanted

I would go for the Dual Layer DVD. A lot of people have those now and they would get the best quality video plus the audio.

Re: Quick opinions wanted

Thanks for you're response. That's what I was planning on doing since dual layer are becoming much more affordable.
