Re: Best Way to check discs after you burn???

I always check out the beginning and the very end. I also make a checksum of the VIDEO_TS folder and then check it against the one that came with the DVD.

Check out a Checksum Guide that Five did that shows how to modify the md5s so you can put it into your EXTRA_TS folder and run it on your files from there.

Re: Best Way to check discs after you burn???

Yeah, I do that all the time.

In my disc, I have the following folders:
VIDEO_TS (it contains all the VOB, IFO, and BUP files)
AUDIO_TS (empty)
EXTRA_TS (it contains the text files, coverart, and md5 checksums)

My discs have always played fine in both my computer and my standalone DVD player. I have heard of several people who do this same thing.
