Re: downloads locking up computer...

Are they perhaps in DivX format and you don't have the plug-in? Is there a thread that goes along with the torrent at the other site where you can ask what player to use or if you need special plug-ins?

Re: downloads locking up computer...

also try it in VLC... this software can play pretty much anything without any codecs having to be installed (it uses its own)

Re: downloads locking up computer...

alright, i had posted on the site i got them from too, and they pointed me to a link here:
http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/3588p1.html
the problem is that little video / picture previewer in windows on the left hand side of folders when you open them. it trys to read them all and maybe doesn't like divx, but either way that's the problem. that link tells you how to disable it and everything is peachy! thanks for the help!
