Combining .wav files

Another noob question here. What's the best way to combine .wav tracks into one track to use for an audio source when authoring a DVD??

you're probably gonna need a wav editor

audacity is free

the real challenge will be syncing it with the video

I'd say shntool

shntool join -o wav -postpad *.wav

Make sure all the files you want to join are in the same folder when you run that command.

To do the syncing properly you might need to get Final CutPro.

you shouldn't need to combine them together. If you're using Vegas, you just select the first one and shift select the last one in explorer. drag them into your timeline. they will show up as one continuous track.
