Say's 6% must be lieing.......

i have been downloading "73503 set 2" for 2 days now and i says im at 6%, the file has 3.5 GB in it though and the set is only 4.2 GB\.... what should i do, id hate to have to start over....
PLEASE HELP

Can you stop the torrent and ask it to do a Force Recheck? (You didn't say what client you use, but that is what it is called in Azureus)

it goes over 100% done and come back down to 4.1 on BT its 6% WHAT SHOULD I DO????? kill it?

This happened after you switched clients, right? How far were you originally? Sometimes you will lose a little when you switch clients.

Are you should you pointed the torrent to the correct directory? Some clients want you to point to the actual folder and others want you to point to the folder to encompases the actual folder. Look inside the actual folder and see if there is another folder in there that is titled the same thing.

I think maybe it's displaying that 100% has been checked then it goes back to displaying the amount you have complete so far. Maybe you lost a bit as Lynne suggested. What's the upload and download speeds looking like for the last two days?

Five is right....it'll count 0-100% telling you how much of what you have it has scanned, and then report the % you have actually downloaded. What are your speeds? 6% of a 3.5GB torrent is a lot of data, and if you are firewalled or the peers you're trying to connect to are firewalled, this is not terribly unusual.
