Re: new to this site

I am not sure about 5.09 but 5.07 bitTorrent is banned from this site. I will have to check on that particular version. Try switching clients. utorrent is a great free alternative.

here's the announcement

After you upload the torrent, open the page, click on the torrent file as if you were downloading a torrent, when it asks where you wish to save it click on the folder you created on your HD. It should then read the contents, and recognize it as a completed torrent, then it will seed.

Re: new to this site

Tiedyedude, as Jonathan said, if you are using BitTorrent 5, you will only get errors in your bittorrent clients since that client is not allowed on this site. I would download uTorrent (see our Software Links in my sig or in the FAQ). Once you have uTorrent installed, download the torrent file from the show you want to seed. You may want to see this FAQ item for help in getting the show into seed mode: http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...q_wrong_folder

I will try the Utorrent as you guys suggest and see how things work. I followed the directions to the T from Technobabble. I use BitTorrent because it is so easy to use. Thanks for the suggestion

If you want to continue to use BitTorrent, that is fine, however you will need to upgrade to BitTorrent 6.
