Should I switch torrent trackers or ?

Back last November I bought a Windows 10 PC. In the past I used BitTorrent on my Windows 7 machine w few problems. I had problems with it on the Windows 10 machine, I do not remember what they were or what version I was using.

I currently use utorrent 2.2.1 but try as I may cannot stop being firewalled. I have Norton set to allow utorrent, have disabled the firewall and rebooted. UPnP and NAT are enabled-no luck. I have tried to research this to fix it w no success.

1. Is there something I am missing ?

2. Should I try BitTorrent again and if so what version ?

3. Should I switch to a different program ?

Any thoughts one might have are appreciated.

Re: Should I switch torrent trackers or ?

May have resolved this by logging into router and added utorrent as a service w the port I specified in utorrent preferences-fingers crossed

Is there a specific port that works best ? It appears utorrent does not allow a range of ports ?
