Why do i become firewalled whenever I resume downloading shows?

While the title pretty much sums it up, this is a problem that ive had over and over. I am using utorrent free on windows 10, if that helps anything. Thanks very much, Jason

Re: Why do i become firewalled whenever I resume downloading shows?

Firstly, being firewalled isn't the end of the world. You can still get good speeds and have a good ratio even if you are firewalled.

If you are firewalled it means you can only connect to non-firewalled users. If you are not firewalled you can connect to both firewalled and non-firewalled users.

Anyway, here are some steps to fix your issue.

Step 1. Give your PC a static IP address on your local network.

Step 2. You then need to port forward the port number that is in your bitTorrent client via your router.
Visit this link and find your particular modem/router and follow the instructions.
