Slow download and upload speeds

I use qtorrent 4.1.0. X64 to do all my downloading. Three days ago my speeds dropped to where I am barely able to do neither. I checked my router posts to see if they were open and it says no, yet I configured it to open. Once I leave the page and com back the configurations are changed. I don't know crap about firewalls and the like but up until three days ago everything was smooth sailing. Any ideas as to what I talking about? Any help? Thanks.

Re: Slow download and upload speeds

Every once in awhile I come on this site and see the "FIREWALLED" notice. No idea why - automatic updates, maybe?

I go into settings in Control Panel and change firewall to off, reboot, and it seems to work fine. Although I will say, even when I'm firewalled I get pretty good speeds so your issue might be something else, Jesse.

Re: Slow download and upload speeds

Is this happening at other sites, or just at Traders Den?
Do you keep the client from updating or allow it to update automatically?
Can you go back to the version of qtorrent that worked for you and then stop the automatic updates?
