Re: For me this recording is little strange....

Okay, I took a look at the 1st sample you sent me. Especially using the "Classic Cool" colour scheme for SA in CEP I could see a clear cutoff aside from the extraction errors I switched over to Black & White (as range_hood explains above) and wham! This clearly shows the recording to be lossy, check out those blocks--this can only be the result of lossy encoding in the lineage.

By the way last 2 other recordings from 1981, Mexico, poor quality, the guy who sent to me this tell that it's a copy from tapes and best availible version (each recording have 2 "big tracks" so looks like from tapes), but propably not (copy link and paste on new window and it work):

Thanks guys !!!
As for this show, it does not look good at all. A clear, sharp cutoff like that is bad news but there is a slight chance that this is just a horrible nr job / LPF.

Try setting CEP to Black & White, zoom to a 2 second spectral analysis and post up a pic. You can also send me a sample from this show if you wish and I'll take a look at it on my comp. Here's how you get the b&w:

Out of curiosity, ever seen an NR job that looked like that, or reproduced it by NR-ing something yourself? I haven't, but I'd instinctively say that NR output looks different (as in it usually won't induce steep bandpass filtering)

Re: For me this recording is little strange....

okay, maybe the cutoff wouldn't be so steep... the highs would certainly go missing. I had a really badly nr'ed show on my drive but recently deleted it for obvious reasons... I'll post some shots the next time I get one like that.

Re: For me this recording is little strange....

Thanks a lot guys ! It's a bad news

This 2 recordings have poor quality. And looks bad on this pics...
On b/w spectral analysis:
http://qliverecordings.tripod.com/files/recording_1.jpg
http://qliverecordings.tripod.com/files/recording_2.jpg

Is this possible that this recording nr1 was come from bad radio source?
Anyway recording nr2 soon I got propably from radio source, with better sound but it's another story.

Five I will sent to You this links to yousendit , 2 short samples (5 sec) with this recordings.
