Question Question about "ONES"

I have been using this siftware and must say that it's an incredible find. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any plugins etc that will allow me to burn flac and shn files directly, instead of converting to wav first? Also if anyone knows of any other cool functionalites of this software. Thaks again.

Peace

Re: Question about "ONES"

someone's sig said "ONES owns NERO" or similar... but if there's no flac plugin, I can't see why I'd try it. Nero works great for me. You just drag and burn.

What makes ONES better?

Hehe. The original posters name is Chuffer.

I think someone has the signature about Ones Owning NERO. But, I think he is talking about it in terms of burning video DVDs not audio CDs

Re: Question about "ONES"

Hehe you guys are funny.

I use windows XP for an OS. And yes, I purchased ONES for DVD burning reasons. One of the reasons I like this software is that I have never (ever) had a burn failure. It works great everytime. I think nero is kind of grumpy in comparison. I had errors kind of frequently when I was using it, and burning DVD's was just Miz

Re: Question about "ONES"

I think the errors in Nero are really just informational sometimes - letting you know that the DVD compilation is not 100% in line with the standard. Doesn't always mean it won't work in the standalone player.

I would like to hear if anyone comes up with a flac plugin for ONES.

Re: Question about "ONES"

from the little i googled, seems there's no shn/flac-on-the-fly plugin available

use Nero for burning listenable copies, use ONES for everything else

fwiw--everyone knows i prefer Macs but i gotta admit, i like ONES better than Toast for archiving shows...ONES, TLH, and EAC are the only reasons i haven't chucked that pc off the mountain

Re: Question about "ONES"

I love ONES for my DVD burning needs, Never use it for burning audio.
I was told there might be a flac plugin, but after googling and finding this thread, I can clearly see that it's not an option.

Re: Question about "ONES"

I use Ashampoo Burning Studio 7 for FLAC and DVD (No SHN support...) and have only had one Dual-Layer DVD failure. I tried the same one again, and it worked perfect. No other complaints about their easy-to-use program.
