downloading question..

i am downloading my first show...i am using BitTorrent..right now it shows me the show is downloading have about 2.1% done...but on the peerlist it shows me hooked up but everything is all zeros..i have been on for about 30 mins...i also am firewalled, is that why everything is all zeros...???..

Id say dont worry about what it says on the tracker page, it should be updated automatically, sometimes it just isnt up to the speed you are though. try refreshing your browser, going back into the original thread and looking at the peers list. Huh, yeah you being firewalled also probably has something to do with it, it may not be sending out your tracker info at all... try to unblock your ports and configure your router. its not very hard, just takes alot of reading and following directions.

thanks..i tried to unblock the ports, but have no idea..??..do i unblock the number that is below my name..??..

The stats in the Peers List can only get updated as often as your bittorrent client sends the information to the tracker. If it's a good little client and it doesn't want to pound the tracker, it will only do that about once every 20-25 minutes. (Don't forget that you only need the tracker to tell you who else is available for you to connect to. Once you have connected to people, it won't feel the need to be talking to you as much.)

The port number below your name is the port number you have told your bittorrent client that you will be using for bt. That is the port that you want to forward through your router/modem.
