Why would .flac be labled differently in Mac OS Finder?

Ok, this is bugging me - all of my .flac files are labeled under Mac OS Finder's "kind" column as QuickEdit files. What gives? h Shouldn't they be FLAC Audio?

Anyone know how I go about changing this?
Thanks!

The type (or "kind") FLAC has been associated with an editor application, "QuickEdit".

Just need to re-associate it with either nothing or another app you'd like to be default FLAC handler.

Control+click the flac file > Open With > Other >>> choose program [check the Always Open With... box]

that should associate flac files with whatever program you choose [player, xACT, whatever]

James and I might both be white bourgeoisie, but we're not the same person.
