Popups and other Help needed AGAIN

thanks for the help, i'm going through some steps with the mcafee assistant now.
i just cleared my cookie and site data and cache info for the last 4 weeks.
now just browsing to see if the popups persist...

this is after running an app update and another scan which found no threats present.

Note that ANY cleanup/search you perform on infected computer using its infected (obviously) system goes the way that (simplifying things) a virus "knows" you're running cleanup and in vast majority of situations is easily capable of hiding itself not to be detected.

The only effective solution is running bootable cleanup (which uses its own operating system) or, as also suggested, formatting the drive and start afresh - but that, I'm aware of, takes an awful lot of time and effort and usually leads to loss of stuff previously saved over there.

So just download what I gave you (but, again - use other computer, NOT the infected one), install on USB drive (again, using clean computer), shut your infected one down, plug USB drive in, boot it from USB drive and let it do the job.

Some time ago got my own computer infected (only myself to blame) and USB method wiped off all the shyte, quickly and effortlessly.
