Capturing the audio from a DVD?

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but....

Does anyone know a method to rip only the audio portion of a DVD? I'm a bit unsure of my terminology, so let me give explain a bit more:

I have several concert DVD's and I'd like to capture the audio from those and put that audio in my music collection (which happens to be Itunes) and burn the masters onto a disc.

Is there a program that might accomplish this? I'm on a Mac, for whatever that's worth.

Thanks-

Re: Capturing the audio from a DVD?

I would take a look at videohelp.com. They have a ton of tutorials over there and I'm pretty sure I saw one for extracting the audio on a Mac. If not, register and go to their forums and there is a forum just for Mac users to ask for help in.

(Or.... put the word 'Mac' in your thread title and I'm sure ffooky will come along and tell you exactly what you need to do. )

Thanks, both of you. I'll post again if/when I find a workable Mac system.
