Webcast capture help needed

Hi, I would like to get started in live webcast capture and was hoping anyone with any experience might offer help and opinions on how to get started. I have decent skills and software for editing, converting video and authoring, producing DVDS. Just need to figure out the simplest way to capture the best quality webcast. Any input, help, advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Don

Replay Media Catcher, WMRecorder. And special ffmpeg scripts can do the live DASH stream capturing.

Don't forget RMTPDump for the pesky encrypted streams.

Re: Webcast capture help needed

I captured the stream from sabaton, primal fear and sabaton from graspop this year with replay media catcher and cant play them even though i see in the library that download has finished with a small picture. Usually i have no problem capture a stream with this program and watched it, but it partical little buggers just wont. I can only hear the audio. I have tried several other streamers and they wont even download the shit, so might be a secure block from graspop? Any help would be good, and if you are curious and want to more, i just uploaded powerwolf on filehost so pm and i link it to you

Re: Webcast capture help needed

I have a question to this as well.
I'm in Germany, and and as ypou know, there is a time difference of about 6 - 7 hours to the USA.
So, Live webcasts of concerts in the USA are middle of the night for people in Germany.

So my question is, is there a software (maybe one of the recommendet streamers) which is good for pre-programming the recording of the webcast and starting the recording when I just let my PC running, without pressing a button for starting the recording.
Hope you understand what I mean

This one is easy to download

Install the "Video Download Helper" add-on for Firefox/Chrome.
