Re: The Allman Brothers' moogis.com + the 40th Ann. Beacon Run

I have Dickey Betts too drunk to play well a few years back...a bad time
I enjoy the ABB only with Barry Lamaar or Allan.....to each his own...
the guest jams are the kinda corny shit I cannot get into at all even when I like the players involved...
blasting some 73 ABB right now BTW

Yes, they are! And I take back what I said about picture quality. The one I've seen looks pretty good on DVD.

Re: The Allman Brothers' moogis.com + the 40th Ann. Beacon Run

The Brothers are selling CDs of the Beacon run on their Hittin' the Note site. $27 per show or $500 for all 15.

These are the facts, say what you will.

Things are different with Obama in office. All we knew about simple math will be challenged by the new administration. All we knew about anything will be challenged

ABB trading policy blows big giant puss filled blistery bile coated chunks. I loved snail trading as much as anyone, but come on digital transfers get it to more people and in a more environmentally friendly way. if you are going to claim that you are all taper friendly and its about the fans and the music and the community. Walk the walk bitches. Bit torrent and online trading created many great communities and shows that used to be hoarded and coveted slowly found their way out of the cracks.

http://www.echoeshub.com/ has some good shows of a atl band with a rotating door of players in various states and stages of addiction and ego.

to pre '74 abb.
