Re: What's with Hungercity again?

Big thanks to you Nutzrocker and of course all the wonderful HC staff. Also all the online friends over at HC who I've no doubt we will see around on other trackers and on the new one when it comes online. In the meantime I'll upload some Elvis here when I get home in a couple of weeks - and continue to upload here and support TTD.

As a guy on one of the other forums said "tell ShaReeF we've moved on". And so we have.

This is for all you guys and gals from HC and also to Lynne and the staff here who have very patiently allowed us to show our frustration, pain and annoyance on this thread

All of which are FREE and NEVER ask for donations. The stuff I download I post on those those sites. I don't hoard anything I download!

Re: What's with Hungercity again?

You can seed anything you download.

It isn't related to your hard drive size. Size doesn't matter.

We don't enforce ratios at TTD but you could stand to seed a bit more when you finish downloading.

Freedom is a great thing. You worked pretty darn hard over there...enjoy...and if you get the fidgets maybe you'll want to help out on the new tracker.

Re: What's with Hungercity again?

All kidding aside, Hunger City folks are finding other places now. I see many familiar faces signing up at Planet Rock and Dime lately.

Let me just say that mediaaddict's ratio here is not reflective of his important and ongoing contribution to the roio universe.

Thanks for ALL that you do mate!

Glad to hear you're no longer banned at Planet Rock, congrats.

In no way am I implying that your reportage is incorrect, but I would have expected most HC members to already be at Dime, it is the 500 pound gorilla in the BT world.

Just curious, but do you have any further insight on that?

I started at Dime as my first tracker, so my experience likely taints my thinking on this.

Re: What's with Hungercity again?

Oh...I messed up. I meant TTD and Dime. I'm still banned at PR, as are my videos.
But HC refugees are certainly still trading. The spirit never dies.

Still curious about the HC > Dime migration. I always thought HC seemed to have a higher percentage of European members than most trackers, that may or may not be an accurate assumption, but if so, could that be it?

Very minor point, and slightly off topic, but I do believe you to be an astute observer of tracker goin' ons, and would like to hear if you have any more thoughts on this.

Edited in later: There has been some recent re-evaluation of what is and isn't allowed at PR, whether that effects the status of your videos there or not, I don't know, but it might.
