Re: Help Burning Backup FLAC Files to DVD

Can I leave them in their current folders:
ex. ph1997-04-05
includes
FLAC Files
Text File
Check Sums
etc?

And just burn them to DVDR?

yes - dont change a thing!

these are your DATA archive/backup discs

you have them to help seed out or recreate a damaged audio/video disc

Re: Help Burning Backup FLAC Files to DVD

I always change the speed from 16k/sec to 4. Even though I know it probably does not matter, I have more confidence in the slow burn. Anyone else have any comments?

Re: Help Burning Backup FLAC Files to DVD

i'm not trying to be a smartass, but do you have a burner capable of burning DVDRs, or just CDRs? did you select DVD or CD data disc when beginning?

if you do in fact have a DVD burner:
1. open Nero Burning ROM
2. select "DVD" as yer disc type & "DVD-ROM(UDF)" as the project type
3. drag all of the show folders you can fit onto the disc to the project window
4. make sure you have the correct drive selected & a blank DVDR inserted
5. burn
