Re: Question for anti-mp3 traders

most of what I would say has already been said here. I'll just add "we don't do that here" and leave it at that.

Re: Question for anti-mp3 traders

And once you allow mp3s to be torrented the lossless sources will be driven out.

Maybe we should allow ONE thread on why mp3 sucks and delete all new threads on the subject?

Re: Question for anti-mp3 traders

Actually, I think this may be the first thread like this we have had. And, notice people were bored with it before it really even started. I think we've all been through it all before.

Nice avatar, uhclem. You did good.

Re: Question for anti-mp3 traders

Like I said, Dennis, I think we just got bored of the whole topic - the flaming included. Either that or we realized it all did no good anyway. And besides, this guy was actually nice when asking his question and conversing about it. Not like some of the threads I can recall on STG.

Re: Question for anti-mp3 traders

Get a faster connection-Get rid of your cheapo speakers-be patient-I probably have 1000+ cassettes and 1000+ cds,I'd be stupid to sacrafice quality for quantity at this point. In fact, its about time to weed out some of the stuff that I am now too jaded to listen to. Someday YOU will be in the same situation,a lot of music...and you'll be old

Re: Question for anti-mp3 traders

Hey, a civilized discussion, though one we're all bored with I'm sure. In fact, this topic has been discussed enough that we have an entry in the FAQ specifically for it:
