High Definition poll

When it comes to HD seeds here at TTD, what would be your primary mode for watching?

Re: High Definition poll

I don't understand what for to make this poll as most answers will be "Computer / Stream-to-TV" or "other" (PS3) as Blu-ray is too costly now

You're making assumptions here. There are some people on the forum that are willing to invest money in Blu-ray.

Mac is about to release Blu-Ray Burners with their new OS and Pro-Towers. Once that happens i'll be full on into Blu-Ray and Releasing some HDV Footage I have been saving from Van Halen and Def Leppard.

Hope they update DVD Studio for you. Otherwise you won't have any menus. macs can't do that yet. I guess that is what you mean.... since people have been blu rays with macs for some time now from FCP.... without menus.

yes, and looks like the wait will be even longer as the new Macs are still without Blu-Ray.

Re: High Definition poll

I usually stream my movies from an external HD connected to my mac to my xbox wireless. But I am finding out that it skips pretty bad when streaming HD movies. Too much data to move wireless I guess
