I did not find anything in the FAQ section but what I would suggest is to take one or more tracks and put them in Audacity and the edit them and keep only a small portion of a track as the sample.

I did create two 30-second wav samples and converted those to mp3 but do not know if I need to upload with the file set or if there is a method so I can insert the mp3 files into a posted comment. ???

Then just submit your reply as normal. I'm not sure what the limits are at TTD, but most sites limit you to a 2 MB attachment, and a total of 4 MB per post. Hope that helps.
