Re: what file do i save it to?

Have you read the BitTorrent Help part of our FAQ? I think you might find it very helpful.

Re: what file do i save it to?

well you don't want to "decode" the torrent file per se, it is only 2k or something and allows you to connect to others to upload and download.

open the torrent file using ABC, then you will start downloading. please keep it running until you've uploaded at least as much as you've downloaded.

read a little more in the FAQ, when you do complete the download you will no doubt have a couple more questions about how to listen/watch etc and the answers can be found in the FAQ. Its not that hard once you do it the first couple times.

hope this helps

welcome to the den

please stop shouting!

Re: what file do i save it to?

First off, ABC is a bittorrent client. It is used to download files. You give it a .torrent file and then it has all the information it needs to connect you to people so you can download the show. So, you need to download that .torrent file onto your harddrive and then open it in ABC. If you are downloading a show from this site, you will *not* be getting any mp3s. We are a lossless downloading site, not a lossy downloading site. If you want mp3s, you will have to go to another site.

Did you read any of the BitTorrent Help threads I posted a link to? The one "How do I download shows from this site?" is probably the most helpful at this point for you. I'm really not sure exactly what you are stuck on since you are talking about mp3s and how you can't find the file.

Re: what file do i save it to?

Don't you love people who are too lazy to do some research on a site's FAQ, etc. and then post such an incomplete question. Krinkles You didn't even mention what type of file (we all have to assume it's .torrent) windows won't recognize.

I think you mods are giving this guy too much credit, let's get to basics:
Did you actually INSTALL the bittorrent client (i.e. ABC)? Or did you just download the software?
hehehe
