Correcting "Out Of Phase" Issues

Hi!

Can anyone post or point me to a simple tutorial showing what an "out of phase" issue looks like in Adobe Audtion/Cool Edit and how to correct it? I'd also like to see a screen shot of what "In Phase" looks like in Audition's Phase Analysis Tool. Would love to get a short sample of an out of phase recording so I know what to look for when checking audio recordings.

I'm going to be receiving a source recording that is known to have out of phase problems and I'd like to be able to recognize and correct it when I receive it.

Have googled to no avail.

Thanks,

NTF
