recommend antivirus/firewall software

Im running vista home premium 64 bit edition. I need a firewall, antivirus, spyware/adware/malware remover program that runs smooth, fast and doesn't slow the computer down. I don't care if its freeware or shareware i will buy it

what do you recommend?

is avg good?

do you need separate programs for each or is there a software that does everything (virus/firewall/spyware etc...) and doesn't slow down?

i dont mind separate software for each as long as the software doesn't make pc slow like norton antivirus

Re: recommend antivirus/firewall software

I'm using Comodo as a firewall (the company has an AV & spyware cleaner free also - never tried them), Avira Antivir Personal as an antivirus, Spybot S&D & Malwarebytes as a spyware cleaner. All of them are freeware and work very good.
Now I don't know if these programs will work as you wish (I used these programs in the past 2-5 years). Now I'm using Windows 7, but they worked good on Vista.
