Lossy or not ?

Hi all ! I'm new here, and learnt a lot about lossy and lossless files when reading all the messages here... I mean, not ALL, but many...

I got this '92 Dire Straits bootleg in a trade, but its analysis gives something weird... Could someone help me analyse it properly please ?

Thanks in advance !

Best,

Nico

Thanks for your anwser.

I forgot to say that it's not an FM recording, but an audience recording... Doesn't sound lossy to me either...

Re: Lossy or not ?

well that's strange... I can see something that looks like a broken carrier at around 15kHz, that's why I thought it was fm.

I'm curious to hear it if you want to post a sample to rapidshare and put the link here...

Re: Lossy or not ?

sounds & looks like something recorded on one of the early MD units. probably recorded to MD at the source as far as I can tell.
