Re: How do you upload?

Are you trying to upload the torrent file (file extension ".torrent")? It should be a breeze, but you won't have success if you try to ul any other type of file.

I guess you'll have to be a little more specific than 'Can't upload'! Are to trying to upload a new torrent to this site or are you trying to upload an existing torrent (one you already downloaded)? PC or MAC and what program are you using?

I'm trying reseed a show that I got from this site.
The steps I take are:

I download a show from TTD to My Documents which I convert by seeding with uTorrent then I Convert the Flac file with FLAC Frontend to a CD.
Then I try to Upload.
I have windows XP.

Thanks alot for everybodys help.
Love the music!
I'm a old road musician trying to caught on to the tech world and the mine was bought up in another world.
Thanks,
Clark

Re: How do you upload?

Trying to reseed a show that is still currently on the tracker? Or trying to put the torrent back on the tracker? If you are just trying to reseed a show still on the tracker, just start the torrent file again in your bittorrent client. If trying to reupload it, then you will need a torrent file to do so. Do you have one?

THe bit in Bold is irrelevant to the process.

You have a torrent file on your PC somewhere, uTorrent has used the info in this torrent file to download the show to your PC.

Armed with a torrent file and the downloaded show, you either should;

- Leave the torrent open and running in uTorrent after you've downloaded it

or

- Open the torrent file in uTorrent (assuming you haven't moved or altered the show files - the FLACs etc.)

Please clarify what you mean by 'try to upload' in the above - what are you actually trying?

Re: How do you upload?

After you download just keep the torrent running... You will be "seeding".

DO NOT CHANGE THE FILE-SETS OF SHOWS YOU DOWNLOAD.

Follow this link from U2Lynne's signature, http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...faq_audioguide
but before that go to YouTube and there are some decent videos that demonstrate the applications... also wiki has some info to help you understand the terminology. Lynne's signature also has links to different software.
