Firefox, Safari, or Opera?

What are you all using?

And how does Opera compare to Safari?

Re: Firefox, Safari, or Opera?

Firefox on both my PC and Mac. I really liked Safari when it came out - I fell in love with the tabs. However, with the extensive customizing you can do with firefox, I have to say that it is my favorite. There are a couple of extensions that I use all the time (bbcode is an absolute *must* for me!) and Safari just doesn't offer anything like them.

So what are the other two like? I've got Opera on my phone, but I hope the PC version isn't as limited as that is!

I like Firefox over Safari and Opera. More customizable.

Re: Firefox, Safari, or Opera?

OS X 10.3.x - Firefox leaves Safari in the dust
OS X 10.4.x - Safari's performance is much better than with Panther and is compatible with a few sites that Firefox chokes on but I still tend towards the Fox.

Opera is the quickest of the three to load pages on my Panther box and has some very nice features but it just seems so alien now...it was my favourite under OS9, along with iCab.

Re: Firefox, Safari, or Opera?

Yeah Opera is cool and all but I can't get it configured the way I like to have FF.

Re: Firefox, Safari, or Opera?

FF also has a lot more security than IE, without it getting in your way like a lot of MicroSoft shit can do. I hear you're more likely to screw your computer viewing sites through the other two than through FireFox, but still, they can't be as bad as IE.

I use Firefox and Flock, both are much better than Opera and all three are a thousand times better than IE. Never heard of Safari.
