Re: new to all of this...HELP please

I would take a look at our FAQ. There is a lot of information in there.

I'm also moving this to Technobabble which is our help forum.

also check out this site:
http://www.mcnichol.com/bnp/
it'll explain what you'll need for trading thru the mail [B&P is a good way to "get started" with a collection].

You can find B&P offers from TTDers here:

Re: new to all of this...HELP please

WOW , thank you guys a lot. I really appreciate it. Ive got just a few more questions that i dont think they go over in the faq. One is...im getting a moe video and it says that its going to take almost 3 days to get. I was wondering if i could speed this up some how. Its a 7 gig file so im assuming im not going to get it rapidly...but 3 days? Also, once i get this, how do i put it then onto a dvd to watch it in my player. Theres probably a link to this question somewhere but i have yet to find it. thanks again for all the help.

Re: new to all of this...HELP please

three days is pretty decent for a file that size. about the only way to speed it up is to go here: portforward.com

when you get it you need to burn it to dvd. add all the contents of the downloaded VIDEO_TS folder and make sure you have an empty AUDIO_TS folder, then burn & verify.

you need a dvd burner first of all. Then you would open up Nero or whatever program and drag in the "VIDEO_TS" folder you downloaded. Also, you should have an "AUDIO_TS" folder, which should be empty.
