"Clip total bitrate too high for a DVD video" is the message I get when I go to compile the DVD

I am using TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 with DivX® Authoring version 3.05.149.
The bitrate is too high for the video portion. > 10000

Any tech help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

depends on whether yer authoring the audio as LPCM or AC3, and it depends on length of the video as well...typically, i encode a 1.5 hour show ~8-8.5Mbps for the video, and LPCM audio [1.5Mbps]

You're not going to fit 90 minutes at those bitrates onto a DVD5.

Rags847: You should use a bitrate calculator before you encode your video. Try this one: http://dvd-hq.info/Calculator.html
