Noob question. How many minutes will 512 MB allow me?

How much recording time will I have with the included 512 MB card doing a 24/96 mono recording with the following device ( http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...ad.php?t=39486 ) ?

I'd recommend getting a bigger card. I've got an 8GB card and can fit several hours on it. They're not that expensive either.

I would agree with pg1 tapes as i also use an 8gb card with my edirol.Always have plenty of recording time even in 24/48( about 7 hours i think, but could be wrong ) so that would give you piece of mind for sure.

I mean...I got around 3 hours of music in 24/48 at TSO. I love having the 8gig card. It's got plenty of space on it for the average concert. I could probably hold 2 or 3 shows on it in 24/48

Re: Noob question. How many minutes will 512 MB allow me?

I got a 16gb card, but I usually record 24/96, and I always record any opening acts, too. Plus, I have hit festivals in the past, so I wanted to be ready for that type of extended recording capability...

Yes, the factory 512 mb card (my Zoom H1 came with 1gb) is more or less included just to let you know that the machine works. Don't bother trying to record anything serious with it. Go get a real big boys memory card for it.

Cheers. happy taping!
